Healthcare Conferences 2025: The Top 5 Events You Can’t Miss

That’s why it’s critical to seek out new educational and networking opportunities, like medical conferences. The problem is, hundreds of such healthcare conferences are held in the United States and across the globe every year—making it difficult to determine which ones are worth your time. Luckily, we’ve compiled a list of the top five healthcare conferences in 2025 you should attend if you’re a doctor, NP, PA, or dentist. Read on to learn more. 

1. Psych Congress

Psych Congress—which will be held from September 17–21, 2025 in San Diego, California—is the largest independent mental health educational conference in the United States and welcomes psychiatrists, NPs, PAs, psychologists, primary care doctors, and other critical mental health professionals from across the country.

When you attend Psych Congress, you’ll gain a unique opportunity to hear about emerging research and novel treatment approaches as you take part in practical sessions led by some of the world’s leading experts in the mental health space. There are even sessions that are eligible for continuing education (CE) credits, which is helpful if you’re looking to maintain state licenses in good standing.

2. AANP National Conference

As the largest national conference for NPs of all specialties, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) National Conference is a must-attend healthcare conference in 2025 for NPs who are looking to network, learn more about the evolving landscape of healthcare, and earn CE credits. 

The next AANP National Conference is scheduled for June 17–22, 2025 in San Diego, California, and will feature presentations from experts on emerging trends in the NP field, up to 34 hours of CE credits in person, and more than 330 sessions and workshops to choose from. 

There’s even a special keynote speaker slated for 2025—Matthew Luhn, a creative powerhouse who worked at Disney/Pixar for over 30 years. His talk will center around how to build stronger relationships with those you will meet at the 2025 AANP National Conference, as well as information about how he develops characters and approaches storytelling. 

3. FMX

Coordinated by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), FMX 2025 is one of the country’s largest family medicine conferences and will take place from October 5–9, 2025 in Anaheim, California. 

This conference is specifically designed for family medicine physicians and offers attendees interactive workshops, opportunities to earn continuing medical education (CME) hours, and networking opportunities.

4. ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 

Similar to FMX, the American College of Physicians’ (ACP) Internal Medicine Meeting 2025 is the top event for internal medicine doctors. In 2025, this event will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana from April 3–5, 2025. 

Like the other medical conferences on this list, the ACP 2025 Internal Medicine Meeting features presentations by esteemed faculty and interactive sessions. Don’t forget that this is also a great opportunity for you to network with other internal medicine physicians and staffing agencies like ours!

5. SmileCon 

Last, but certainly not least on our list of must-attend healthcare conferences in 2025 is SmileCon. Held by the American Dental Association (ADA) every year, this conference welcomes dentists from across the country to share their research, earn CE hours, and network with one another. 

The 2025 edition of SmileCon is scheduled for October 23–25, 2025 in Washington D.C. Not only will there be plenty of opportunities for dentists to network and enhance their education, SmileCon also holds a variety of social events and other fun engagements over its duration.
