Tired of the hustle and bustle of the city? Want to live and work in a more rural area of the country full of nature? You’re in luck—our Hardwick, MA office is located in central Massachusetts and offers a peaceful alternative to the noisy urban sprawl. Here are four reasons why you should consider working with us in Hardwick.
1. Nature Abounds
Love to hike? Interested in learning more about local central Massachusetts wildlife? Our Hardwick, MA office is located in a quiet, rural area of the state in between the college town of Amherst and the populous city of Worcester, offering beautiful nature spots to explore.
To our office in the west is the Quabbin Reservoir, a man-made lake and the largest inland body of water in the state that is the primary water source for Boston and other communities in eastern Massachusetts. While you’re not allowed to swim in the reservoir for obvious reasons, the reservoir does allow some fishing, bicycling, hiking, and picnicking in designated areas.
But the Quabbin isn’t the only nature-oriented place of interest near our Hardwick, MA office, in fact all of the towns surrounding Hardwick feature verdant forests and other natural wonders to adventure to.
2. Local Attractions
Concerned that there’s not much to do in Hardwick because of its secluded location? Think again. There’s plenty of things to do in Hardwick and nearby!
Hardwick is home to Lost Towns Brewing, a craft brewery serving fruit beers and ales on tap, as well as Hardwick Winery, which is home to some award winning wines. These are perfect places to meet up with friends and coworkers after a hard day’s work at the office! Just two minutes from our office is an entrance to the Mass Central Rail Trail, a once-historic rail line that’s now become a haven for cyclists, hikers, and joggers.
The larger town of Ware is to Hardwick’s south and offers a few fun attractions, including Frog Hill and Grenville Park, as well as some great restaurants such as Teresa’s, which offers decadent Italian cuisine. Love to golf? The nearby town of Oakham features the Quail Hollow Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole, semi-private golf facility built in the Quabbin watershed.
If you look hard enough, you’ll be sure to find something in the area you’ll love!
