Compassion & Care is Our Business

At Barton, we believe it is our responsibility to give back. Whether it be assisting within our local communities or making donations overseas, it’s critical we use our platform to provide assistance wherever it’s needed. We would like to thank our team members, providers, and clients for supporting these initiatives.

Beyond Our Walls: Volunteering Spotlights

When they aren’t connecting healthcare heroes with patients across America, our exceptional team takes it upon themselves to give back to their communities:

Project New Hope

Henrietta Ford, Project New Hope

“Project New Hope empowers Veterans to rebuild with honor through a range of impactful programs, including a supplemental food pantry, wellness retreats, VA claims assistance, a weekly veterans coffee social hour, and free holistic therapies. As a veteran myself, I’ve personally benefited from Project New Hope’s wellness retreats and food pantry services during a period of unemployment. I deeply value the opportunity to connect with and support fellow veterans, many of whom are elder members of our community. It’s a privilege to give back in this way.”

Women 4 Women Tempe

Heather Beasley, Women 4 Women Tempe

“Women 4 Women Tempe provides feminine hygiene products to unhoused women in the Phoenix, AZ area. Our work holds a special place in my heart as I am deeply passionate about women’s rights. With the soring homelessness rates in the area, it’s but a small difference we can make in the lives of the women around us—and they appreciate it so deeply.”

Burlington Youth Soccer Association (BYSA)

Antony Melath Raphel, Burlington Youth Soccer Association (BYSA)

“Soccer has always held a special place in my heart. Throughout college, I was honored to serve as the captain of our soccer team, leading us in multiple tournaments. This passion for the game continues to drive my commitment to coaching and community engagement.”

French and Indian War Society

Stephen Jennings, living historian

“History isn’t just words on a page for me; it’s a world to be lived. From childhood, I’ve been driven to experience the past firsthand, not just read about it. I immerse myself in reenactments and historical skills, seeking to understand the daily lives and challenges of those who came before. More than just recreating events, I strive to connect with the human experience across time, sharing that connection through storytelling and hands-on experiences. I believe truly living history unlocks a deeper understanding of both the past and ourselves.”

Carlisle, MA Fire Department

Seth Perry, Volunteer Firefighter

“The Carlisle Fire Department in Massachusetts aims to protect the lives and property of its citizens from fires and disasters, save lives by providing emergency medical services, and prevent fires and emergencies through education, prevention, and code enforcement. Barton Associates is a company that aims to get hospitals the staffing they need in order to administer the healthcare patients need. It is essentially a business that aids in providing humanitarian aid. That is precisely what I aim to be, a man that provides humanitarian aid both in business and public service. What better way to be an example of that than to be a first responder?”

Hospice KDW Shootout

Taylor Tilles

“The Hospice KDW Shootout is a fishing tournament that serves as a fundraiser for hospice care. This event combines competitive angling for Kingfish, Dolphin, and Wahoo with charitable support. Its primary mission is to raise funds for the Trustbridge Hospice Organization while increasing awareness about hospice care in the community. This organization is important to me because it supports essential end-of-life care services. Hospice provides comfort to terminally ill patients and their families during difficult times. While you may not know someone needing hospice now, it’s likely you or a loved one will in the future.”

Filipino American Civic Association International (FACAI)

Charlene Baik

“Our focus is to serve the Filipino-American community and our community back in the Philippines. We conduct medical missions and community outreach in our local community and internationally. It is important to me to not only serve the community in Las Vegas but to also get in touch with my Filipino heritage.”
