Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in Montana. This 120-day assignment begins on 06/23/2025, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, primarily working four days per week in the main clinic. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing stress echocardiograms, managing pacemakers and other cardiac devices, and conducting minor procedures. This opportunity may involve occasional travel to other clinic locations in the area, and also offers the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform comprehensive cardiac evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Conduct stress echocardiograms and interpret results
• Manage and adjust cardiac devices, including pacemakers
• Perform minor cardiac procedures (no catheterization lab work required)
• See patients as a primary cardiologist and assist existing cardiologists
• Prescribe and manage medications, including blood pressure and statin therapies
• Coordinate referrals to catheterization labs as needed
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Stay updated on the latest cardiology treatments and procedures
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety
• Communicate effectively with patients about their cardiac health and treatment options
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Be willing to travel occasionally to other clinic locations in the area
Requirements:
• Active Montana state medical license
• Board certification in Cardiology with invasive cardiology experience
• Proficiency in stress echocardiography and cardiac device management
• Experience in minor cardiac procedures
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
