Type of Facility: Mental Health Facility Length of Assignment: 60 days

Start Date: Beginning of December

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, with every other Friday off


Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens General Dentist position in a mental health facility. This opportunity offers a chance to provide dental care to a unique patient population in a team-oriented environment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide general dentistry services, including routine procedures and some root canals

• Deliver high-quality dental care to patients who may have poor oral health

• Perform basic dental procedures such as fillings, cleanings, and extractions

• Conduct oral examinations and develop treatment plans

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care


The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing general dentistry services, have experience working with diverse patient populations, and be proficient in using eClinicalWorks EMR.
