Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a 6-day locum tenens assignment at a dental practice in Connecticut. Starting on 10/02/2025, this opportunity offers a flexible schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9am to 5pm, and Fridays from 9am to 2pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with basic cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including veneers, crowns, dentures, bridges, implants, fillings, extractions, and anterior & premolar endodontics. Invisalign certification is a plus. The dentist will manage approximately 12 cases and 8 hygiene patients per day, coordinating with hygienists and the office manager to ensure efficient patient care. This role requires strong dental skills, adaptability, and proficiency with the Dentrix practice management system.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry services

• Perform basic cosmetic and restorative procedures

• Conduct veneers, crowns, dentures, bridges, and implant treatments

• Manage fillings, extractions, and anterior & premolar endodontics

• Coordinate with hygienists to oversee hygiene appointments

• Utilize Dentrix practice management system for patient records and scheduling

• Consult with office manager daily to review and plan patient care

• Manage approximately 12 cases and 8 hygiene patients per day

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Adhere to all practice policies and procedures

• Communicate effectively with patients about their oral health and treatment options

• Stay updated on the latest dental techniques and technologies


Additional Information:
