Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a Dentistry Clinic in Iowa. The ideal candidate will be available to start on 05/12/2025, working Monday through Thursday. This role requires expertise in general dentistry, including crowns, bridges, restorations, extractions, and fillings. The provider will be utilizing Dentrix practice management software, and the role may have the potential for assignment extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform full scope general dentistry procedures for patients of all ages 

• Conduct crown and bridge preparations and placements 

• Complete dental restorations and fillings 

• Perform tooth extractions as needed 

• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions 

• Maintain accurate and detailed dental records using Dentrix software 

• Collaborate with dental staff and other healthcare professionals 

• Provide patient education on oral health and hygiene 

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols


Additional Information: 

• Iowa dental license required 

• Experience with Dentrix software preferred 

• Comfortable handling a wide range of general dentistry procedures 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
