A dentistry clinic in Louisiana is seeking a Dentist for a locum tenens position starting 05/27/2025. This 28-day assignment requires coverage Monday through Friday with varying hours. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with general dentistry procedures, including Invisalign, endodontics, crown/bridge work, and implant restoration. This opportunity offers a consistent weekly schedule in a clinic setting using Dentrix software. This role may also have the chance for assignment extension.

Provider Type Needed: Dentist 

Schedule: 8a - 4p and other similar shifts from Mondays - Fridays

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform general dentistry procedures 

• Provide Invisalign treatments (certification required or willingness to obtain) 

• Conduct endodontic procedures 

• Perform crown and bridge work 

• Complete implant restorations 

• Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and documentation 

• Develop treatment plans and discuss options with patients 

• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members 

• Maintain a clean and sterile working environment 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Additional Information: 

• Must be a licensed Dentist with active Louisiana dental license 

• Invisalign certification required or willingness to obtain 

• Experience with endodontics, crown and bridge work, and implant restoration preferred 

• Familiarity with Dentrix software is beneficial 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
