Barton Associates is seeking an experienced Dentist for a locum tenens position in New Mexico. This opportunity offers a 56-day assignment starting 05/26/2025, with weekday hours varying from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general dentistry, including surgery, implants, and root canal treatments (RCT). This role also requires proficiency with Dentrix software, and offers a chance for extension.

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 7 AM - 5 PM, Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Conduct dental examinations and consultations
• Carry out dental surgeries and implant placements
• Perform root canal treatments (RCT)
• Complete fillings, crowns, and other restorative work
• Provide patient education on oral health and post-procedure care
• Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and care coordination
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and work assignments

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice dentistry in New Mexico
• Strong background in general dentistry required
• Expertise in dental surgery, implants, and root canal treatments
