 We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in New Mexico. Starting on 05/05/2025, this opportunity offers a consistent schedule of Monday through Thursday, from 7 AM to 6 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable focusing exclusively on dental hygiene services, ranging from perfect to Type IV periodontal cases. This role requires expertise in sub-gingival scaling and polishing, adaptability to various periodontal conditions, and proficiency with the Dentrix dental practice management software.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform dental hygiene services for a range of periodontal cases

• Conduct thorough oral examinations and periodontal assessments

• Perform sub-gingival scaling and polishing

• Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and treatment planning

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques

• Collaborate with other dental professionals as needed

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adhere to all clinic policies and infection control procedures

• Provide patient education on periodontal health and disease prevention

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to dental hygiene

• Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies
