Job Location: Oklahoma (IHS facility so any state license is accepted)

Type of Facility: Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 days

Start Date: Beginning of January

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm (10-hour shifts)


Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens General Dentist position in at an IHS facility in Oklahoma. This short-term opportunity offers a chance to provide a range of dental services in a well-equipped environment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform general dentistry procedures

• Conduct dental examinations and digital x-rays

• Provide restorative treatments using both amalgam and composite materials

• Perform simple and surgical extractions based on comfort level

• Refer complex extractions and molar endodontic procedures to specialists as needed

• Maintain accurate and timely dental records using Dentrix and RPMS systems


The ideal candidate will be comfortable with general dentistry procedures, including restorations and extractions. Proficiency in using Dentrix and RPMS systems is preferred.
