We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for an 8-day locum tenens position at a dental clinic in Oregon. The assignment covers specific dates in April and June, with shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing surgical extractions, working with analog dentures, and handling implant restorations. This role requires an active Oregon dental license and the ability to provide high-quality dental care in a clinic setting. The dentist will be responsible for a range of general dentistry procedures while maintaining a professional and efficient practice environment.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform surgical extractions with precision and care 

• Create and fit analog dentures for patients 

• Complete implant restorations to restore patient's oral function and aesthetics 

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and develop treatment plans 

• Provide general dentistry services as needed 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records 

• Collaborate effectively with dental assistants and other staff members 

• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols 

• Communicate clearly with patients about their oral health and treatment options 

• Adapt to the clinic's processes and workflows efficiently

Required Qualifications: 

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree 

• Active Oregon dental license 

• Proficiency in surgical extractions, analog dentures, and implant restorations 

• Experience in general dentistry procedures
