We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Dental Clinic in Texas. This 62-day assignment starts on 04/16/2025, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of general dentistry procedures. Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatment planning 

• Conduct general dentistry procedures 

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans 

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care 

• Interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests 

• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix software 

• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols 

• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout dental visits 

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental techniques and practices 

• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Texas 

• Experience with Dentrix dental practice management software preferred 

• Strong expertise in general dentistry procedures 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team 

• Excellent communication skills for patient education and care coordination 

• Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial 62 days
