Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology for a locum tenens position in Maryland. This 104-day assignment begins on 05/12/2025, with a flexible schedule, preferably including Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general dermatology, including management of eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, acne, allergic reactions, and contact dermatitis. This opportunity also has a chance for an extension.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform comprehensive dermatological examinations and develop treatment plans 

• Manage various skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and acne 

• Conduct annual skin exams and cancer screenings 

• Diagnose and treat allergic reactions and contact dermatitis 

• Perform patch testing as needed 

• Provide patient education on preventative skin care 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 

• Stay updated on the latest dermatological treatments and procedures 

• Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety 

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures 

Requirements: 

• Active Maryland state license as a Nurse Practitioner 

• Certification in Dermatology 

• Experience in general dermatology and skin cancer screenings 

• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care 

• Willingness to learn about or assist with cosmetic procedures (if interested)
