Responsibilities and Duties:
• Manage outpatient endocrinology cases, with a focus on diabetes (60% of practice)
• Conduct inpatient rounds and new consults during weekdays
• Diagnose and treat metabolic conditions, endocrine cancers, and tumors
• Manage thyroid conditions and related disorders
• Address sexual development, function, and reproduction conditions
• Treat calcium and bone disorders
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNPs, RNs, and MAs
• Provide patient education on endocrine disorders and treatment plans
• Participate in potential inpatient consult and call schedule (1 week per month)
Additional Information:
• Must be a board-certified Endocrinologist
• Active Ohio medical license required
• Experience with diabetes management is essential
• Familiarity with Epic EMR is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population
