We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Massachusetts. This 85-day assignment begins on 11/17/2025, with a potential for extension. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some administrative time throughout the week. The role involves providing comprehensive family practice care, including routine and complex follow-up visits, bi-annual physicals, and managing common ailments such as coughs, colds, sore throats, infections, fevers, and minor injuries.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct routine and complex follow-up visits for patients 

• Perform bi-annual physical examinations 

• Diagnose and treat common ailments such as coughs, colds, and sore throats 

• Manage ear and eye infections, fevers, and minor injuries 

• Handle overflow patients from other offices 

• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and management 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 

• Provide patient education on preventive care and health maintenance 

• Participate in administrative tasks as required 

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures

Additional Information: 

• Experience in family practice required 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment 

• Current Massachusetts NP license required
