Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 15-day locum tenens position at a Private Practice in Texas. This assignment begins on 04/14/2025 and offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 3 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing general family practice cases without procedures. As the sole provider in the office for 2.5 weeks, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages 

• Conduct patient examinations and diagnose various health conditions 

• Develop and implement treatment plans for common illnesses and chronic conditions 

• Prescribe medications as necessary 

• Offer preventive care and health education to patients 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Practice Fusion EHR system 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when referrals are needed 

• Manage time effectively to see patients within the scheduled hours 

• Ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction 

• Stay current with the latest developments in family medicine

Additional Information: 

• Texas Nurse Practitioner license required 

• Familiarity with Practice Fusion electronic health record system is beneficial 

• Comfortable working independently as the sole provider in the office
