We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in rural California. Starting 04/21/2025, this opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday coverage from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with general family medicine, including wellness checks, injury prevention, and treatment of common illnesses. Some prenatal and postnatal care may be required, but deliveries are not. The provider will act as a floater, potentially traveling to different locations. Proficiency with Nextgen EMR is also essential.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive family medicine care in a rural outpatient setting
• Conduct wellness checks, physicals, and preventive care visits
• Diagnose and treat common illnesses such as colds, flu, hypertension, and diabetes
• Handle women's health issues, including IUD insertions and prenatal/postnatal care (no deliveries required)
• Manage patient schedules with 20-minute blocks for regular visits and 40-minute blocks for new patients
• Utilize Nextgen EMR system proficiently
• Adapt to a wide scope of cases due to the rural location
• Act as a floater, potentially traveling to different locations as needed
• Work occasional Saturdays with compensatory time off on Mondays
