Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct routine physical examinations and health screenings
• Provide acute care for various illnesses and injuries
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
• Perform minor procedures including suturing and skin treatments
• Administer breathing treatments as needed
• Stabilize patients and arrange transport to nearest ER when necessary
• Dispense medications from the clinic's dispensary
• Utilize Athenahealth EMR system for patient documentation and management
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled
• Ensure compliance with all clinic policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Additional Information:
• Experience in full-spectrum family practice required
• Comfort with both outpatient and urgent care scenarios essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a clinic environment
• Current Hawaii medical license required
