The position involves working Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Overview:

We are seeking a locum Family Practice Physician to provide coverage for a chemical dependency facility in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience in substance use/addiction medicine settings and be comfortable handling a range of primary care cases.


Job Details:

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- No on-call responsibilities

- Responsibilities include managing common primary care conditions such as:

 - Acute Upper Respiratory Infection (URI), Hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Seasonal Allergies, Osteoarthritis, Depression, Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), Acid Reflux Disease (GERD), Hyperlipidemia, Back Pain, Skin Rashes, Anxiety, & Contraceptive Counseling

- Experience with paper charts required


Requirements:

- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Practice

- Active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain one

- Preferred experience in substance use/addiction medicine settings

- Comfort with managing a variety of primary care conditions
