We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a Private Practice in Pennsylvania. This 60-day assignment begins on 05/12/2025, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing high complexity patients with chronic illnesses coupled with substance abuse issues and limited healthcare access. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with call responsibilities one day per week. As a locum tenens provider, you will serve as a primary care physician, working alongside a comprehensive health team to deliver quality care to underserved patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to high complexity patients
• Manage chronic illnesses and substance abuse issues
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with limited healthcare access
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team to ensure holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using eClinicalWorks EMR
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled
• Adhere to all practice protocols and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Stay updated on current family practice guidelines and procedures
• Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania
• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks EMR is required
• Experience in managing complex patients with multiple comorbidities is essential
