 We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a clinic in Pennsylvania. This assignment offers flexibility with a duration of either 6 months or 1 year, starting 06/02/2025. The physician will work 40 hours per week, with schedule options including 4-10s or 8-4 Monday-Friday. Responsibilities include managing clinical staff, overseeing medical clinicals, occasional direct patient care (seeing around 15 patients per day), and serving as a collaborative physician for NPs/PAs. The role involves both clinical (65%) and administrative (35%) duties, including running a 340B program. This position offers a blend of leadership and hands-on patient care, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage and oversee clinical staff

• Supervise medical clinicals and ensure quality patient care

• Provide direct patient care as needed, seeing approximately 15 patients per day

• Serve as collaborative physician for NPs and PAs

• Oversee and participate in the 340B program

• Manage patient charting and documentation

• Balance clinical (65%) and administrative (35%) responsibilities

• Utilize Athenahealth EMR system for patient management

• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and ethical guidelines

• Collaborate with pharmacies for prescription management

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Adapt to filling in gaps in care when necessary


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania

• Experience in both clinical practice and administrative roles preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills essential
