Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a Clinic in Washington. This 80-day assignment begins on 06/02/2025, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will provide primary care clinic coverage, managing a panel of patients for both follow-up and new patient visits. Responsibilities include treating a wide range of conditions such as colds, coughs, flu symptoms, physicals, routine visits, and managing chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages 

• Manage a panel of patients, including follow-ups and new patient visits 

• Diagnose and treat acute conditions such as colds, coughs, and flu 

• Perform routine physical examinations and health screenings 

• Manage chronic conditions including diabetes and hypertension 

• Develop and implement treatment plans for both acute and chronic cases 

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results 

• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate 

• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care 

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records 

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures 

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in family medicine 

• Manage time efficiently to accommodate patient appointments

Requirements: 

• Active Washington state medical license 

• Board certification in Family Medicine 

• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
