Work Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm clinic with call

• Friday-Sunday: 8am-12pm clinic, on call after 12pm


Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens Gastroenterologist position in a hospital setting. This opportunity offers a chance to provide inpatient gastroenterology care in a busy clinical environment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient gastroenterology consultations and procedures

• Conduct ERCP procedures (required skill)

• Manage cases including irritable bowel syndrome, GERD, and peptic ulcers

• Handle 10-12 new consults per day

• Perform follow-ups as needed

• Complete approximately 20 procedures per week

• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled


The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a high-volume inpatient gastroenterology practice and proficient in ERCP procedures.
