Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology Needed in OH

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Ohio. Starting 06/16/2025, this role offers a Tuesday to Thursday schedule from 8am to 4:30pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with general medical oncology, chemotherapy administration, and oral chemotherapy for both established and new patients. You'll be working with solid tumors, focusing on breast, lung, prostate, and colon cancers in an outpatient office and infusion center setting. The position involves seeing 10-12 adult patients per day, with a 50/50 split between hematology and oncology cases.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive care for hematology and oncology patients 

• Administer chemotherapy and manage oral chemotherapy treatments 

• Develop and maintain treatment plans for oncology patients 

• See 10-12 patients per day in an outpatient office setting 

• Work with solid tumors, particularly breast, lung, prostate, and colon cancers 

• Collaborate with Hematology Oncology Physician 

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system 

• Manage both new and established patients 

• Work in both office and infusion center environments

Additional Information: 

• Ohio state license required 

• Experience with general medical oncology preferred 

• Comfortable working with adult patients 

• Potential for assignment extension
