We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician for a 20-day locum tenens assignment at a Surgery Center in California. The ideal candidate will be available to start on 05/05/2025, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role requires expertise in conducting medical exams, managing illnesses, prescribing medications, and more. The selected provider will be responsible for efficiently completing all procedures throughout the day, reviewing patient cases in the EMR, and providing detailed reports on each patient encounter.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct comprehensive medical exams for adult patients 

• Diagnose and manage various illnesses and chronic conditions 

• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments 

• Perform annual exams and wellness check-ups 

• Provide preventative care and patient education 

• Review EMR for daily patient cases and prepare accordingly 

• Efficiently complete all scheduled procedures and consultations 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Compulink software 

• Provide thorough reports on each patient encounter 

• Complete necessary documentation for insurance purposes 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Additional Information: 

• California medical license required 

• Experience with Compulink EMR preferred 

• Strong organizational and time management skills essential 

• Excellent communication abilities for patient interactions and reporting
