We are seeking a licensed Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to fill a critical locum tenens position at a Hospital in Florida. This 120-day assignment begins on 06/23/2025, with a work schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM for clinic hours and occasional call coverage on weekdays and weekends. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a high volume of ultrasounds, consultations, and ultrasound reads daily. Responsibilities include conducting fetal echocardiograms, amniocentesis, and managing complex maternal conditions such as isoimmunization, preeclampsia, and placental abnormalities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled MFM specialist to provide care in a dynamic hospital setting, with potential for extension.

Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM clinic hours, 24-hour call coverage (weekdays and weekends)
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform 24-30 ultrasounds daily
• Conduct 15-25 consultations, including 12 new consultations per day
• Read 50-55 ultrasounds daily
• Perform fetal echocardiograms and amniocentesis procedures
• Manage complex maternal conditions including isoimmunization and preeclampsia
• Evaluate and treat placental abnormalities
• Provide expert MFM consultations and recommendations
• Participate in 24-hour call rotations, alternating with another locum provider
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records using Epic
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide patient education and counseling on high-risk pregnancies
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Florida
• Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine required
• Experience in high-volume MFM practice preferred
• Strong clinical skills in ultrasound and fetal diagnostics essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage complex cases
• No surgical procedures required; focus on MFM consultative services
