We are seeking a skilled Neurologist for a 33-day locum tenens position in California. The assignment begins on 07/14/2025, with a schedule 8a - 5p shifts for 3 days per week. The physician will be responsible for evaluating patients, providing quick consults, and recommending diagnostic tests such as MRIs and EMGs. The role involves seeing concussions, strokes, dementia, and brain injuries. No surgery is required. This opportunity also offers a chance to work in a telehealth setting, conducting patient interactions via phone calls.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct patient evaluations and quick consults via telehealth 

• Recommend appropriate diagnostic tests, including MRIs and EMGs 

• Assess and interpret imaging results 

• Provide treatment recommendations for neurological conditions 

• Manage cases involving concussions, strokes, dementia, and brain injuries  

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using paper charts 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed 

• Adhere to telehealth protocols and safety standards 

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology 

• Demonstrate strong decision-making skills in a telehealth environment

Additional Information: 

• California state medical license required 

• Strong experience in neurology essential 

• Familiarity with telehealth practices preferred 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work efficiently in a remote healthcare setting
