Start Date: End of December

Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm) and 24-hour call from 12/30 7am to 1/6 7am


Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens Neurologist position in a hospital setting. This short-term opportunity offers a chance to provide critical neurological care in an inpatient environment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interpret radiologic exams

• Perform lumbar punctures

• Administer thrombolytic therapy

• Conduct brain death examinations

• Manage stroke cases

• Administer tPA for acute ischemic stroke

• Provide inpatient neurology consultations

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR system


The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of neurological procedures and treatments, and be proficient in using Epic EMR.
