Barton Associates is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Ohio. This 72-day assignment begins on 07/01/2025, with 12 hour night shifts (7p - 7a) for 3-4 nights per week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing labor and delivery for patients over 35 weeks gestation, handling emergency GYN surgeries, and working as the sole laborist on shift. Experience with Epic EMR is preferred, and an active Ohio medical license is required. This position also offers the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide labor and delivery care for patients over 35 weeks gestation 

• Perform emergency gynecological surgeries 

• Manage high-risk pregnancies up to 35 weeks 

• Serve as the sole laborist during shifts 

• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management 

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals 

• Ensure high-quality patient care and follow-up 

• Adhere to hospital protocols and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology 

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members 

• Participate in any required departmental meetings or training sessions

Additional Information: 

• Comfort with emergency GYN surgeries essential (no backup available) 

• Active Ohio medical license required 

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred 

• Flexibility to work night shifts and extended hours 

• Possibility of extension
