Job Description

Another locum tenens opportunity has arrived in Vermont! Our client is looking for an OB/GYN to begin coverage in early November. Hours include 24 hour call coverage shifts (8a - 8a). The selected locum will be handling deliveries, C-sections, hysterectomies, ectopic pregnancies, ED calls, and other OB/GYN cases. There is a chance for an extension with this opportunity. This facility uses CPSI.


Job Details: 

Location: Vermont

Start Date: 11/07/2025 

LOA: 7 days

Provider Type Needed: OB/GYN Physician  

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (8 am to 8 am)


Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for OB/GYN patients 

• C-sections and deliveries as needed 

• Manage hysterectomies

• Handle ectopic pregnancies

• ED calls

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals 

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the CPSI system 

• Communicate effectively with patients' families and other healthcare providers 

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures


Additional Information: 

• Vermont medical license required 

• Experience in OB/GYN preferred 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
