Job Description

We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN physician for a locum tenens position at a rural access hospital in Wisconsin. This 24-day assignment begins on 06/07/2025, providing weekend call coverage throughout the summer. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with occasional deliveries, potential gynecological cases, and maintaining a 30-minute response time. This opportunity also offers the potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide on-call OB/GYN services during assigned weekends 

• Respond to calls within 30 minutes 

• Perform deliveries as needed

• Handle potential gynecological cases 

• Collaborate with existing OB/GYNs and Family Practice physicians 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR 

• Ensure high-quality patient care in a rural hospital setting 

• Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology


Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice in Wisconsin 

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred 

• Comfortable working in a rural healthcare environment 

• Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions
