Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist for a locum tenens position at a Clinic in Massachusetts. Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic care to patients 

• Perform surgical procedures using advanced equipment

• Conduct examinations using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools 

• Utilize various laser units for treatments

• Participate in resident teaching

• Collaborate with a team of ophthalmologists and optometrists 

• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation 

• Perform anterior segment procedures 

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures 

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ophthalmologic best practices and treatment guidelines 

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members 

• Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality care


Requirements: 

• Active Massachusetts state medical license 

• Board certification in Ophthalmology 

• Experience with advanced ophthalmologic equipment and procedures 

• Excellent surgical skills and attention to detail 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Experience in or willingness to participate in resident teaching 

• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
