Start Date: End of November

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-time; potential for 3 weeks on, 1 week off


Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens Optometrist position in a multi-specialty clinic. This opportunity offers a chance to work in multiple locations providing comprehensive eye care services.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and yearly check-ups

• Diagnose and treat various vision conditions

• Prescribe corrective lenses (glasses only, no contact lenses)

• Float between two clinic locations as needed (potentially one day per week at an alternate location)

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR system

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care



The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a diverse range of optometry services, flexible in work locations, and proficient in using Epic EMR.
