Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Connecticut. This 180-day assignment begins on 04/21/2025, with a potential for extension. The schedule is flexible, ranging from 5-6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, with hours typically from 9 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing eye exams, contact lens fittings, disease co-management, and referrals.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations 

• Perform contact lens fittings and evaluations 

• Manage ocular diseases and conditions 

• Provide appropriate referrals for specialized care 

• See 2-3 patients per hour for various eye care services 

• Utilize RevolutionEHR software for patient documentation and management 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes 

• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
