Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for a 10-day locum tenens position at a clinic in Texas. The assignment begins on 05/14/2025, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting routine eye exams, performing follow-ups, and managing post-operative care for cataract patients. There is also a possibility of assignment extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct routine eye examinations 

• Perform follow-up appointments for various eye conditions 

• Manage post-operative care for cataract patients 

• Take accurate readings and measurements of patients' eyes 

• Provide primary optometric care and consultations 

• Collaborate with other eye care professionals as needed 

• Educate patients on eye health and proper care techniques 

• Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as necessary 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records 

• Adhere to clinic protocols and safety standards 

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry

• Texas state Optometrist license required
