We are seeking a skilled Pathologist for a 120-day locum tenens position in Kentucky. The assignment begins on 05/26/2025, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. The physician will be responsible for handling various pathology specialties, including gynecological, gastrointestinal, hematological, cytological, and general surgical pathology. Weekend and night call coverage is shared among all pathologists. The position also utilizes the Epic EMR system and offers the possibility of assignment extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform pathological examinations in GYN, GI, hematology, cytology, and general surgical pathology 

• Analyze tissue samples and laboratory tests 

• Interpret results and provide diagnostic reports 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed 

• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records 

• Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards 

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in pathology 

• Participate in shared weekend and night call coverage 

Additional Information: 

• Kentucky or Indiana state medical license required 

• Strong experience in pathology essential

• Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment 

• Comfort with shared call responsibilities
