We are seeking a Pathologist for a locum tenens position at a Laboratory / Diagnostic Center in Oregon. This 100-day assignment begins on 06/16/2025, with a potential for extension. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call or weekend duties. The role requires expertise in Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP), with a focus on signing out complex surgical pathology cases. Experience in GI or GY pathology is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform anatomic and clinical pathology services
• Sign out complex surgical pathology cases
• Interpret laboratory tests and provide diagnostic reports
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Utilize Windowpath software for case management and reporting
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Provide consultation to clinicians on pathology findings
• Stay updated on latest developments in pathology
• Contribute to the education of medical staff and trainees, if applicable
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Additional Information:
• Experience in signing out complex surgical pathology cases preferred
• Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty (especially GI or GY) is desirable but not required
• Recent graduates will be considered
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Current Oregon medical license required
