We are seeking a skilled Pathologist for a 120-day locum tenens position at a Clinic in Texas. This assignment begins on 06/02/2025 and offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with General Pathology, Surgical Pathology, GI Biopsies, Breast pathology, and frozen sections. The role involves managing an average of 15-20 cases per day, requiring efficiency and expertise in a variety of pathological examinations and diagnoses.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform general pathology examinations and diagnoses
• Conduct surgical pathology analyses, including frozen sections
• Evaluate GI biopsies and breast pathology specimens
• Manage and interpret an average of 15-20 cases daily
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed pathology reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
• Ensure adherence to all laboratory safety and quality control protocols
• Provide consultations to other healthcare providers as required
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the pathology department
Additional Information:
• Texas medical license required
• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology preferred
