Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care
• Perform sealant applications to prevent tooth decay
• Conduct fillings for cavities in primary and permanent teeth
• Place stainless steel crowns (SSC) when necessary
• Perform extractions of primary and permanent teeth as needed
• Install space maintainers to preserve proper tooth alignment
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix software
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Additional Information:
• Michigan dental license required
• Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry preferred
• Proficiency in Dentrix dental practice management software is beneficial
