Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens position in Ohio. This exciting opportunity offers a 60-day assignment starting 05/12/2025, with weekday hours from 8 AM to 5 PM and OR hours from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of pediatric dental procedures including hygiene checks, restorative work, crowns, bridges, fillings, and extractions. This role also requires proficiency with Epic EMR and offers a chance for extension.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, OR 7:30 AM - 4 PM

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform pediatric dental hygiene and restorative procedures
• Conduct dental consultations for pediatric patients
• Carry out crown and bridge placements
• Complete fillings and dental restorations
• Perform simple, surgical, and full mouth extractions
• Conduct procedures under sedation when necessary
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and work assignments

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Ohio
• Strong background in pediatric dentistry required
• Comfortable working with children of all ages
• Experience with sedation dentistry preferred
• Excellent communication skills for working with young patients and their families
