We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Colorado. This 17-day assignment is split into two periods: June 16-25 and July 21-29, 2025. The role involves providing 24-hour call coverage from 7 am to 7 am. The ideal candidate will be comfortable attending C-sections and deliveries, managing RSV and flu cases, and working in a newborn nursery. This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive pediatric care in a hospital setting, while utilizing the Cerner electronic health record system.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for pediatric patients 

• Attend C-sections and deliveries as needed 

• Manage RSV and flu cases in pediatric patients 

• Provide care in a newborn nursery 

• Perform routine newborn examinations and assessments 

• Diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions 

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals 

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the Cerner system 

• Communicate effectively with patients' families and other healthcare providers 

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Additional Information: 

• Colorado medical license required 

• Experience in pediatric hospital medicine preferred 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
