We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pediatrics for an 11-day locum tenens assignment at a clinic in California. The ideal candidate will be available to start on 05/16/2025, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The selected provider will be responsible for delivering comprehensive pediatric care, including routine check-ups, sick/well visits, and addressing common childhood illnesses. The assignment also utilizes Nextgen for electronic health records.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care for patients 18 and under 

• Conduct well-child visits and routine check-ups 

• Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses 

• Perform developmental screenings and assessments 

• Administer vaccinations according to recommended schedules 

• Offer guidance on nutrition, safety, and child development 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Nextgen

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed 

• Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease prevention

Additional Information: 

• California NP license required 

• Experience with Nextgen EHR preferred 

• Comfortable handling a wide range of pediatric cases 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential 

• No overtime allowed 

• Potential for assignment extension
