We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position in California. This 45-day assignment begins on 05/05/2025, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing comprehensive pediatric care, including physicals and sick visits. This role focuses on general pediatric care without procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work in a hospital setting using the Epic EMR system, and potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct pediatric physical examinations 

• Manage sick visits for pediatric patients 

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care 

• Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses 

• Perform well-child check-ups and developmental screenings 

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR 

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines 

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff

Additional Information: 

• California Nurse Practitioner license required 

• Experience in pediatric care essential 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
