Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting 05/27/2025. This opportunity involves working at a multi-specialty clinic, providing comprehensive pediatric care in a rural health setting. The schedule typically consists of 5 eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with a possibility of 4 ten-hour shifts and occasional random days off. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with all aspects of pediatric cases and procedures.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care in a rural health setting
  • Manage a variety of general pediatric cases
  • Conduct well-child visits and routine check-ups
  • Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and injuries
  • Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers in a multi-specialty clinic environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR system
  • Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
