Job Location: Maryland (MD or DC license accepted)
Length of Assignment: 23 days
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Schedule: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, 4 hours once per week
Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens Psychiatrist position in a medical facility. This part-time opportunity offers a chance to provide psychiatric evaluations and support in an in-person setting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations on assigned patients
• Assist and coordinate with on-staff Nurse Practitioners for patient psychiatric evaluations
• Provide in-person evaluations and assessments
• Offer expert psychiatric consultation as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Medi-Scribe system
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently to conduct psychiatric evaluations and assist NPs, though this is not a formal collaborative role.
