Our client, a hospital located in Kentucky, is seeking a locum Pulmonologist for an 84-day assignment starting in February 2025, with the potential for extension. The selected physician will work on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the on weeks. The primary responsibility is covering an ICU, handling pulmonary consults and cases. The pulmonologist should be comfortable performing a range of procedures, including oral/nasal intubation, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy with biopsy, central venous and arterial line placement, arterial puncture, ventilator management, and tube thoracostomy. The facility uses Meditech EHR as their EMR system. This position offers an opportunity to work in an intensive care setting, providing critical pulmonary care and interventions.
