Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for an 8-day locum tenens assignment an Urgent Care facility in California. The ideal candidate will be available to start on 04/17/2025, working varying shifts. The selected locum will be handling a wide range of acute medical conditions and minor emergencies.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide urgent care and acute care services to patients of all ages 

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries 

• Perform minor procedures as needed 

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests 

• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate 

• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed


Additional Information: 

• California Nurse Practitioner license required 

• Experience in urgent care or acute care settings preferred 

• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
