Job Description

A hospital in West Virginia is seeking an experienced Urology Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment starting 05/19/2025. This role involves managing benign and malignant urology conditions, stone disease, prostate screening, and administering BCG treatments. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of urological procedures and patient care, working with the Epic electronic health record system. This opportunity also offers the potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive urological care in a clinic setting 

• Manage benign and malignant urological conditions 

• Evaluate and treat patients with stone disease 

• Conduct prostate screenings and follow-ups 

• Administer BCG treatments 

• Perform urological procedures within scope of practice 

• Collaborate with urologists and other healthcare professionals 

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR 

• Educate patients on urological health and preventive measures 

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures 

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care 

• Participate in multidisciplinary care team meetings as needed


Additional Information: 

• West Virginia state NP license required 

• Experience in urology surgery preferred 

• Potential for assignment extension
