We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women and Adolescent Health for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in California. This 30-day assignment begins on 05/12/2025, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with potentially handling some gynecological cases, but will primarily be responsible for giving facility tours to potential new patients and current patients. Additionally, the nurse practitioner may assist at the front desk alongside the receptionist when needed. This unique opportunity allows the provider to showcase the facility and interact with patients in a non-clinical capacity, with the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct facility tours for potential new patients and current patients 

• Provide information about services offered and answer patient questions 

• Assist with front desk duties alongside the receptionist as needed 

• Handle potential gynecological cases if required 

• Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor during patient interactions 

• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure smooth operations 

• Utilize ClientCare software for patient management and scheduling 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards 

• Participate in patient education and outreach initiatives 

• Assist in maintaining a positive and inviting facility atmosphere

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in California 

• Experience with ClientCare software is beneficial 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required 

• Ability to multitask and adapt to various roles within the facility 

• Knowledge of women's and adolescent health services 

• Comfortable with both clinical and non-clinical responsibilities
